For these prints , I took inspiration from an extract from a blog by Dr. Otto Saumaarez Smith for the Southbank Centre:

‘The structure that resulted from these collaborations is a thrilling hodgepodge of sprouting mushroom columns, jumbled geometries, cantilevered cubes, and precipitous terraces’.

Walking around the spaces of the Hayward Gallery you can’t help but notice the strange shapes and particularly the eye-catching sawtooth roofline. This silhouette along with cast shadow shapes from the exterior spaces as well as concrete textures have found their way into my print designs.

Together these printed layers form a record of atmosphere with colour and tactile memory describing the time I have spent in these spaces.
